我特地翻了牛津高阶，
instead只有一个词性就是adv
常见位置是这样两种：
He didn't reply,instead,he turned on his heel and left the room.
Lee was ill so I went instead.
一般出现在句子末尾，后面不能再加其他词。
而instead of是prep，要加宾语，一般是名词或者动名词
如：
We just had soup instead of a full meal.
Now I can walk to work instead of going by car.
也就是说，第二题应该是：
Who will go to attend than meeting instead ?
=Who will go to attend than meeting instead of me？
