Ren Feixiang: on the first day of Spring Festival, I went to the Daming Lake Temple Fair in Jinan. There I joined others in striking a big bell, hoping the loud sound would bring a whole year of good luck and great achievement. Hearing the sound , we felt relaxed and blessed.

Dong Qiwu: The traditional handicrafts are a big attraction at the temple fairs ,many of which are on the verge of dying out .What impressed me most was how they make dough sculptures .I was amazed to see an old man finish a vivid-looking rooster in less than a minute. I bought one and placed it on my desk, hoping it could inspire me to study harder.
