Hexavalent chrome has a severe toxicity, and can gather in water living creatures and farm crops, and is absorbed by the human body through vegetative chain and accumulate inside the body, causing disease even cancer when reaching certain degree.Chrome contained waste water is nowadays internationally accepted as one of the most serious harmful effectses.The national environmental protection bureau has already listed chrome contained waste water as focal point of controlling.Chrome contained waste water mainly come from production such as electroplate, tanning, mining and dyestuff etc..The continuous aggravating of the chrome pollution will do harm to mankind health and environment , causing problems of pollution of the environment .So the valid processing of chrome contained waste water is always a burning question to industrial production.currently there are mainly two major types of ways to treat the Cr(Ⅵ ) contained waste water :One type is a Reduction Method.This method will create great quantities of dirty mire in the process, easily causing secondary pollution.Another type is direct processing of Cr(Ⅵ ).The ion exchanging method is one kind of the method, having advantages of high efficiency and low operation expenses ,and no secondary pollution etc, and is subject to extensive concern[1-10].This text studies the adsorption and mechanism of D318 resins(functional group:-The CH2 NH2) of Cr(Ⅵ ) in the water.The result shows D318 resins have advantages of low synthetic cost, simple process flow and great capacity of absorbtion and the easy desorption etc. .Experiment results provided theories basis for D318 resins's application in treating chrome contained waste water.
